Credential Evaluation for RGUHS Graduates: Overview

A credential evaluation (often called an ECA — Educational Credential Assessment) is an assessment of how your Indian qualification compares to the education system of another country. Immigration authorities, licensing boards, employers and universities use these evaluations to understand your degree in their own terms.
Different countries and professions use different evaluators. What almost all of them share is one requirement: your academic records usually have to reach the evaluator directly from the university, sealed or through an approved electronic channel — not forwarded by you.

Identify the correct evaluator for your goal and profession
The right evaluator depends on the country, the purpose (immigration vs licensing) and your profession. For example, some nursing and pharmacy pathways use profession-specific bodies rather than a general evaluator.

Create your account and read the document requirements
Register with the evaluator and read exactly what they need — which documents, in what form, and where the university must send them.

Request your transcript to be sent to the evaluator

Track both sides
Monitor the university's dispatch and the evaluator's receipt. Evaluations can take time; keep references for both.
